Meatballs Fall from Sky; Is Pasta Next? 12/30/09

Wednesday, December 30, 2009 — Residents of Millsberry will need to keep their umbrellas handy after meatballs were seen raining from the sky yesterday! Following the meatballs were hamburgers, cheeseburgers and ice cream cones for dessert, prompting many citizens to ask, "What's up with this weather?"

When asked about this meteorological (weather-related) phenomenon, our Millsberry weatherman said, "I've never seen anything like it before. Luckily, it all tastes good. I say, grab a fork!"

During the food storm madness, "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" items were misplaced throughout the Millsberry community. Wade stacks of pancakes to find Sam, Flint, Trent, Earl, Tim and the Mayor's outfits. Once you've found all six, you'll be eligible for some special prizes. What's your 2010 Resolution?

Wednesday, December 30, 2009 — As December rolls along and the countdown to 2010 begins, many start to think about their New Year's resolutions. Edna Nelson told us she's resolved to exercise more, noting, "This resolution just happens to coincide with the arrival of new treadmills." In fact, once our brief chat was through, Edna took off speed-walking—aiming to purchase one that afternoon!

We were also happy to hear that many of our Millsberry Academy students are making a resolution to get straight A's in the New Year! Might this trend have been sparked by the release of the straight-A report card in a frame currently on sale downtown? Either way, you'll want to pick one up for yourself to hang above your bed for inspiration!
